I den nordvestlige del af De Veluwe, tæt ved Ermelo, ligger Recreatiepark De Paalberg. Den er en af Hollands første campingpladser. Allerede i 1915 kom campister til denne del af provinsen Gelderland for at opleve den smukke natur. Stedet er nemlig en fantastisk base for cykel- og vandreture. Gennem porte fra campingpladsen fører vandrestier direkte ind i skoven. Der er også utallige landsbyer og byer i området, såsom Harderwijk, og Hollands mindste købstad, Staverden.
De Paalberg has a few fields and many more individual pitches, playfully spread throughout the park. For example, you can choose a pitch at the edge of the woods or more centrally located near a playground or toilet building. At the edge of the campsite, you can leave the park through a gate and enter the forest or the heathland. Pets are allowed (except W and D pitches).
Se detaljerComfort pitches can be found in several places on our park. Both on fields and spots situated more individually. The W-field and the C-field are our largest fields (W1-15) & (C1-13). In the middle of these fields is a large playground equipment. There is plenty of space to play and sit in the sun. The A field is the most centrally located and contains both a field and individual pitches. The T field is also very centrally located. The D field is close to the toilet block 'de Luifel' and contains a playground. It is located in very green surroundings, close to the moors. Pets are allowed (except W1 to 4 and W6 to W15 and D33 to D37a).

This inspector visits Recreatiepark De Paalberg every year and inspects the campsite based on more than 200 facilities and other points. The inspector is an employee of ACSI and not affiliated with the campsite.
