The site is excellently located for access into Cáceres which is an ancient historic city with beautiful architecture and and a very interesting place to visit. The bus stop is only a few minutes from the site entrance with very frequent service. The unusual “ensuite“ facilities are a refreshing change even though they are a little bit tired. Each plot has its own unit with toilet, basin and wet room shower together with a stone outside sink and water tap. There are excellent laundry/washing up facilities together with a spa room, swimming pool and restaurant. A recommended site.
Wow, your own toilet and shower, spotlessly clean AND hot water!! The old town’s well worth a walk around too.
a very good site, your personal bathroom facilities are a bonus.
have a look at the pitch offered as if you have a long outfit ,its difficult to get it out sometimes. adequate shop facilities.
bar snacks good prices.
some of the female staff on reception could do with more people skills
It was a National holiday when we stayed here so it was busy. Unfortunately, because of this we were put into an area at the very top of the site with shared facilities instead of the advertised private washrooms. There were many people sent to the area and because of this the campsite set up makeshift electiric points in the middle of the field. There was clearly not enough room in the field for all the motor homes but they kept on coming late into the night. Non ACSI people had a reduction because they were put in the field but ACSI did Not! The washing up facilities were about 600 yards away. Behind our tent was a huge bright light like at a football stadium which didn’t go off until nearly 2am. We complained the next day and had a bit of an argument about it. They did switch it off about 11.50 the next night. We found the staff a little confrontational because they obviously didn’t like complaints. The town was well worth a visit so we wouldn’t want to have missed that.
On arrival you\'re given a key to you own \'on pitch\' privvy. If the pitch is unsatisfactory you can change it. My advise is, go check it out first. Some pitches are quite small, fine if your a motor-home, not so if you drive a monster truck dragging a bungalow behind it as I do. (FYI: This is not to make up for some deficit on my part). Because of the pitch sizes your neighbours can be pretty close; especially those behind you. The guy who moved in behind us left a two foot gap between my rear end and his. I was quite nervous watching him back onto the pitch from my darkened rear wash room, especially as he clearly hadn\'t quite got the hang of reversing a caravan; and judging from the dents on his car, hadn\'t quite got the hang of driving forward either!. The small city is absolutely worth a visit and you can easily get lost walking around the old original walled town. We walked innocently into the cathedral just as a major civic event was drawing to a close. Lots of the congregation were in uniform, either police of military. Those that weren\'t were all scrub up very nicely. At the end we tagged onto the end of the procession and walked out. Outside, tourist took photos. I waved casually. Nice site, nice town.
We stayed here for 2 nights in early October and with the excellent weather the superb pool was very welcome. Reception team were OK and whilst we were given a pitch we did have the option of changing if we had wanted. Great to have your own facilities but I agree with previous comments - you back right up to your \'rear\' neighbour and you are pretty close to your \'side\' neighbours with no hedges or anything else for that matter. For two nights and low season not a problem.
The bus journey into Caceres was very easy and the drivers are clearly used to multi national visitors visiting for the first time.
we enjoyed our visit to Cãceres. the site was very handy for cycling in despite the absence of cycle routes in the actual town..The staff were helpful, the pitch was fine for a city site be warned the outlook isi onto your neighbours and there is No View. at all unless in the pool/bar area..however it\'s a clean, convenient town site
Excellent facilities - individual showers on each pitch, clean and well kept site. Staff could be friendlier and more welcoming - professional and efficient but cold.
Great campsite with fantastic pool .. all pitches have own facilities which we have always found clean ... Caceres itself is a wonderful place & a easy bus ride from just outside the campsite ... lovely place to stay
Staff and check-in/out very quick and friendly, helpful advice. Site clean and well kept, bar/restaurant/shop well stocked. Toilet /shower room clean and in good working order, including toilet paper. Really accessible with good bus service into town and supermarkets. Will certainly visit again.
